Tor Vikingur is a security consultant with NC-Expert, and has been associated with the company for over 15 years. He also runs his own security company performing high level support for banks and shipping companies across the world. His skills are highly sought after in the security arena.

Tor has multiple certifications. He holds professional level Cisco certifications in Enterprise, Wireless, and Security; he also holds CWNA and ECSE; and he holds CWSP, CWDP, CWAP; along with multiple instructor designations including CCSI and CWNT. Tor has developed security programs for multiple companies, and is the author of numerous security training courses. 

Tor is a security and Cisco ISE guru, he has been working with ISE since v0.4! As a highly experienced security expert, he has the ability to explain complex systems in easy to comprehend ways.

He  has more than 30 years of experience within the Electronics and Telecommunications fields, 19 years of experience within computer networking for the Royal Danish Airforce (RDAF), NATO, and local Government, along with several clients within Scandinavia. Within 18 years of his service in RDAF, for 14 of these he served as NCO with his final rank being Warrant Officer – a highly respected position. He has more than 30 years teaching experience (starting from mid 1985).

Tor is a founder of the Channel42 podcast along with Troy Martin, and Phil Morgan.
