Todd Smith
Todd Smith is a senior wireless solution architect who first dipped his toes into the Wi-Fi waters back in the early 2000s, earning his CWNA certification; and nearly 20 short years later, he became a Certified Wireless Network Expert. Over the years, he's designed, deployed, debugged, etc. numerous complex Wi-Fi networks and solutions while working at scrappy startups and massive corporations. And despite being considered an "expert” in his field, he sees himself as a guy who stumbled into a good thing and kept falling forward.
Every now and then (mostly then, although…), you may find him dabbling in content creation with his “WiFi-Fu” blog and his “Under the AP” podcast. And while he occasionally poses as the developer behind the Wi-Fi troubleshooting site MerakiWiFi.app (his son did the heavy lifting), Todd enjoys creating tools and processes that help fellow Wi-Fi engineers do less work - or rather, work smarter not harder.
