Jason Hintersteiner
Jason D. Hintersteiner, CWNE #171 is an experienced veteran in Wi-Fi, possessing a unique perspective on the industry by having worked in engineering, marketing, management, and sales roles for both wireless internet service providers and access point equipment vendors. For over the past sixteen years, Mr. Hintersteiner has been a principal network architect and analyst for over a thousand wired, Wi-Fi, and point-to-(multi)point wireless backhaul networks, spanning multiple verticals including hospitality, student housing, assisted living, residential apartments, religious non-profit, education, warehouses, factories, commercial offices, stadiums and entertainment venues, film studios, and retail. Mr. Hintersteiner has also taught dozens of vendor-specific and vendor-neutral Wi-Fi training courses, as well as served as an expert witness in legal cases involving network forensic analysis and patent litigation. Mr. Hintersteiner is currently a Senior Wireless Solutions Architect at Comcast Business. Mr. Hintersteiner holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), as well as a Master of Business Administration from the University of Connecticut. Mr. Hintersteiner has presented at numerous conferences and holds multiple Wi-Fi industry certifications, most notably the Certified Wireless Network Expert (CWNE #171). Mr. Hintersteiner also holds over 20 patents in both Wi-Fi and Optical Network Lithography technologies.
