DFS at 5 GHz leads operators and manufacturers to develop a mystical "German Angst." Manufacturers make "weather channels" nonconfigurable, and operators don't use DFS channels because there is an airport in a 20 km range. I will present the real impact area of a German weather radar. You may learn that this impact area is much, much smaller than thought.
