This is the ultimate Deep Dive on Wi-Fi security.

This year NC-Expert is offering two Deep Dives from our awesome senior engineers and trainers.

This one will be about Wi-Fi Security. It has been developed by NC-Expert over the last few years, especially for the audience at WLPC. It is based on our 4-day class that has been developed over the last 10 years. It has been taught to Police, Military, and government entities.

This year it will be presented by Tor, who is a renowned security expert.

Our goal is you will leave with a strong introductory understanding of the aspects of today’s Wi-Fi and security.

You will learn a brief history of Wi-Fi security: where it came from, and where it's going.

You will learn why the protocols of yesterday, are no good for today or tomorrow.

You will learn about the 4-way handshake and why it is important.

You will be introduced to roaming, fast roaming, and how to design for Wi-Fi secure networks.

You will be shown how to do live captures, and how to do live analysis

You will be introduced to Guest networking, and WPA3.

You will be introduced to operation of Wi-Fi 6, 6E, and 7, and learn how they operate securely in 6GHz, and with WPA3.

You will be able to spell and explain MFP/PMF, H2E, GCMP, and SHA256. 

You will be introduced to MPSK and all its flavors, is it really as cool as it sounds? What are the practical applications?

You will learn when how and why to apply these features.

You will leave with best practice recommendations of how to deploy these features and minimize downtime and failure.

You will be introduced to threats that attack Wi-Fi and how to easily defend against them.

You will learn about the realities of current and recent threats, (such as DragonBlood and Blast RADIUS and other attacks) that threaten your environment, and how to resolve them.

You will see and perform attacks, and defenses in real-time. You will leave with the packet captures to explore in more detail.

You will receive software to assist you in your journey to Wi-Fi Secure. (These will be yours to keep).
