This is the ultimate bootcamp on Wi-Fi security.

This year NC-Expert is offering two Bootcamps from our awesome senior engineers and trainers.

This one will delve into Wi-Fi Security. It has been developed by NC-Expert over the last 10 years. It has been taught to Police, Military, and government entities.

This year it will be presented by Tor Vikingur, who is a renowned security expert.

Our goal is that you will leave with a deep understanding all the aspects of today’s Wi-Fi and security.

You will learn the history of Wi-Fi security. Where it came from, and where it's going.

You will learn why the protocols of yesterday are no good for today or tomorrow.

You will gain an understanding of the theory of Wi-Fi security, roaming, fast roaming, and learn how to design for Wi-Fi secure networks. You will cover the 4-way handshake in depth.

You will learn about acronyms, TMA – that’s Too Many Acronyms! (We have a lot in Wi-Fi!)

Some of the acronyms covered (and more importantly explained in depth) include: WEP, WPA, WPA2, WPA3, TKIP, AES, PSK, MSK, PMK, PTK, TEK, KEK, KCK, KEK, GTK, GMK, PMKID, PMKSA. There are more... we just run out of space!

You will be able to spell and explain MFP/PMF, H2E, GCMP, and SHA256. 

You will learn about MPSK and all its flavors: is it really as cool as it sounds? What are the practical applications?

You will perform live captures, you will engage in live analysis.

You will learn about Guest networking, and WPA3.

You will learn about the realities of current and recent threats, (such as DragonBlood and Blast RADIUS, along with other attacks) that threaten your environment... and how to resolve them.

You will cover Wi-Fi 6, 6E, and 7, how they operate securely in 6GHz, and with WPA3 in depth.

You will learn when how and why to apply these features.

You will learn recommended methods to deploy them and minimize downtime and failure.

You will learn threats that attack Wi-Fi and how to easily defend against them.

You will perform attack and defense in real-time, with packet captures.

You will receive software to assist you in your journey to Wi-Fi Secure. (These will be yours to keep).
