If you are on the path of studying for CWNA and are prepared to spend some serious home study hours preparing for the exam, then this class is for you. You may also have been working with Wi-Fi for some years.
This is not an ordinary CWNA standard class. You will still get all the needed material the official courseware and an exam voucher. A normal CWNA class is 4-5 days, but this is only 3 days.
There is quite a lot of material in the courseware for CWNA that is suitable for self-study. For this class, we will concentrate on the chapter that requires more discussion. This will give room for some hands-on exercises, and it will create time for the class to discuss topics
related to the newest standard. So, on top of the standard content, we will add more material about the following.
- 802.11-ax on 6 GHz (6E)
- WPA3 - OWE and SAE
- WPA3 and RADIUS
- Wi-Fi 7
- Packet Capturing on 6 GHz
- Spectrum analysis on all bands
- Security concerns
The topics above will be illustrated with demonstrations and hand-on labs uniquely created for this class. Students will have access to antennas, Wi-Fi adapters, Wlan-Pi's and other hardware.
Students will get instructions on how to prepare before class and what topics are left for self-study together with home-lab exercises. This information will be available well before class early September. You will also have a chance to chat with the instructor weeks before the class.
